We have monthly vegan potlucks (usually held the last Saturday of each month from 6-10 pm) where we socialize, share information, and get to sample lots of delicious food. Our potlucks are held to provide social support, encouragement, and advice for those interested in or already living a vegan (anti-speciesist) lifestyle. There is no charge to attend but donations for our annual fundraising efforts are encouraged and greatly appreciated.
We also hold demonstrations and protests to oppose speciesism, promote veganism, and educate the public about the violence inherent in all practices and industries that use our fellow animals. Signs are always provided or you can bring your own if you prefer. We also do vegan education and outreach in the form of leafleting, tabling, pay per view video outreach, and food sampling. Anyone who agrees that our fellow animals are here with us rather than for us and who shares our vision for a non-speciesist world where all animals are free from human exploitation is welcome to join us or volunteer at any of our events.
